This full-time, on-site contract role offers the chance to provide both direct and indirect physical therapy services, working closely with a collaborative team of professionals to support student mobility and participation in educational activities. The position is based near The Villages, FL, with a start date of August 3, 2026, and will continue through May 28, 2027.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid and active Florida Physical Therapist license required
• Experience in school-based settings is highly preferred, though not mandatory
• Flexibility for itinerant assignments across multiple school locations (servicing 2-3 schools daily)
• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
• Ability to provide services to a diverse caseload ranging from Pre-K to 12th grade

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and indirect therapy services for assigned students according to IEPs and district guidelines
• Manage a caseload (shared with another PT and PTA) of approximately 94 students across various campuses
• Participate in multi-disciplinary teams, contributing to assessments, documentation, and goal setting
• Engage in timely communication with staff, students, and families to promote optimal therapy outcomes
• Maintain accurate records, documentation, and timesheets as required by district protocols
• Complete all onboarding and credentialing requirements to ensure smooth district onboarding
