Senior Accountant - Audit Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per year Our client is a growing public accounting firm committed to delivering high-quality tax, audit, and advisory services to individuals and businesses across a variety of industries. Benefits Competitive salary based on experience Health and retirement benefits Paid time off and holidays Continuing professional education support Career growth opportunities Responsibilities Tax Services Prepare and review individual, corporate, partnership, and fiduciary tax returns Conduct tax research and assist with tax planning strategies Communicate with clients regarding tax matters and information requests Assist with IRS and state tax notice responses Audit & Assurance Perform audit, review, and compilation procedures Prepare audit workpapers and financial statements Assist with risk assessments and internal control evaluations Work directly with clients during fieldwork and engagement completion Bookkeeping & Accounting Maintain and review client general ledgers Prepare monthly and year-end financial statements Perform reconciliations and adjusting journal entries Assist clients with QuickBooks and accounting system support General Responsibilities Manage multiple client engagements and deadlines Supervise and mentor junior staff as needed Maintain strong client relationships through professional communication Ensure compliance with firm standards and professional regulations Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required CPA license preferred or actively pursuing CPA Minimum of 3 years of public accounting experience Experience in tax preparation, audit engagements, and bookkeeping/accounting services Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite Experience with tax and audit software preferred Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment Equal Opportunity Employer Jobot is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
