MEDIA EXECUTIVE - WXIX

Job Summary/Description WXIX has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Media Executive to join our Sales team! We provide the culture, tools, and environment for you to achieve unlimited success. This challenging and rewarding position will be responsible for the growth and development of an existing client account list as well as new business partnerships, including local station initiatives and digital advertising sales. Duties/Responsibilities Managing and growing an existing client account list. Creating a strategic business plan with the manager to meet and exceed all revenue goals and targets on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. Developing advertising solutions for new customers that deliver results to their customers. Up‑selling customers by providing proof of performance and solid results. Working target accounts in the pipeline at all times and replenishing as these accounts emerge. Conducting needs analysis and account reviews to uncover customers' needs. Demonstrating product knowledge and value to customers. Explaining the benefits of Digital (SEM, SEO, Social, Display) and its integration with TV, in tandem with digital personnel. Effectively negotiating with customers to meet a winning return on investment. Collaborating with the Traffic Manager to provide timely and accurate traffic instructions and conducting account maintenance, including make‑goods posts and aging/collections. Creating and delivering formal written and verbal presentations to clients. Using CRM (Matrix) to manage day‑to‑day activity, build a pipeline, and ensure execution. Using the CRM (Matrix) tool for projections weekly. Qualifications/Requirements Experience in outside sales is required. Experience in broadcast or digital media sales preferred. Experience with a CRM tool, Wide Orbit, and Wide Orbit Media Sales is a plus. Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office suite such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Word (preferred, not required). Team player who can produce quality results and work with a variety of internal and external personalities. Strong organizational skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
