Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify the mental health needs of clients, utilizing standardized assessment tools and interview techniques tailored to each individual case.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on a comprehensive understanding of clients’ unique circumstances, ensuring all approaches are evidence-based.

• Deliver therapy services across various modalities including individual, group, and family therapy, leveraging a variety of therapeutic models such as CBT, DBT, and trauma-informed care.

• Foster strong relationships with clients by engaging in regular check-ins, providing continuous support, and adjusting treatment plans based on ongoing evaluations of client progress.

• Actively participate in multidisciplinary rounds and case reviews, collaborating with psychiatrists, case managers, and other professionals to coordinate holistic care.

• Provide crisis intervention services when needed, utilizing effective de-escalation techniques to assist clients experiencing acute distress.

• Engage in community outreach initiatives, conducting workshops and webinars aimed at promoting mental health awareness and reducing stigma.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Please note that you will be working with a diverse population encompassing individuals with a wide range of mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, depression, PTSD, and substance use issues. Our client base reflects a variety of cultural and socio-economic backgrounds, making it essential for our therapists to approach each case with cultural sensitivity and respect.

Qualifications\n

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) in the state of New York.

• A master’s degree or doctoral degree in fields such as Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.

• Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to inspire trust and build rapport with clients.

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively, ensuring documentation and client records are maintained accurately and timely.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least 3 years of experience providing mental health therapy in a clinical setting, preferably with telehealth experience.

• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems for maintaining and accessing client documentation.
