Together, we are creating an environment where nurses are owners in the clinical decision-making process, are well connected, have open communication with their colleagues, feel supported to develop professionally, and understand the future of nursing at MultiCare.ResponsibilitiesMobilize resources and manage the system in response to patient needsAct as an expert clinical practitioner and participate in the development and evaluation of clinical guidelines and standards of careApply specialized knowledge to the activities of administration, supervision, and evaluation of nursing practiceUtilize critical thinking skills and independent decision-making regarding patient care and the collection and analysis of dataCollaborate with patients, families, health care providers, payors and managementCommit to achieving safe, reliable and effective health care excellenceRequirementsBachelor's degree in Nursing, or obtained within five (5) years from the initial date of hire; RN with 15+ years of service or internal candidates hired before January 1, 2021 may be considered in satisfaction of this requirement in lieu of an education agreementAdvanced degree in Nursing (MSN, PhD, DNP, ARNP) preferredCurrent Registered Nurse license in Washington State or Multistate License endorsement (MLS)Three (3) years of recent clinical experience in specialty areaAbout Mary Bridge Children'sFor more than 70 years, MultiCare Mary Bridge Children's Hospital & Health Network has cared for children and families across the South Sound. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $48.15 - $90.83 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant's years of experience align.
