About the Opportunity:

• We're seeking a detail-oriented Factoring Operations Specialist to support critical back-office financial operations, including funding, invoicing, payroll, cash application, and reconciliations. 
• In this role, you'll work closely with Relationship and Portfolio Managers to ensure accurate processing, resolve exceptions, meet important banking deadlines, and help maintain a smooth and reliable factoring operation.

What You'll Do:

• Prepare and reconcile weekly funding reports, including purchased invoices, accounts receivable activity, and reserve analyses.
• Build, validate, and process Excel/CSV files, ensuring accurate invoice data entry and consistency across systems.
• Execute wire and ACH transactions while meeting daily processing and banking deadlines.
• Generate A/R aging and subsidiary reports and reconcile payroll and invoicing activity against accounting statements.
• Research discrepancies and exception items, collaborate with cross-functional teams on resolutions, maintain audit-ready documentation, and identify opportunities to improve processes and workflow efficiency.

Job Requirements

What You'll Bring:

• Associate Degree in Accounting.
• 2+ years of experience in performing financial data entry, reconciliations, transaction processing, or accounts receivable reporting.

• Good Excel skills and proficiency working across multiple datasets and systems.
• Solid understanding of payroll taxes, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash posting.
• Highly detail-oriented, organized, and effective at managing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Good service mindset with the ability to collaborate across teams.
• Experience in factoring, payroll processing, or financial operations.
• Familiarity with reconciliation and exception-management workflows.
