We are looking to hire a Payroll Assistant with outstanding administrative and communication skills to join a Best and Brightest Companies to Work for in the Nation Winner (6 years in a row). This person is expected to be a critical thinker with excellent organizational and time management skills. You must be reliable and should accurately follow instructions with the ability to multitask and acclimatize to a fast-paced environment. Prior payroll experience preferred. To ensure success, our Payroll Assistant should be a self-starter with solid decision-making skills and good attention to detail. Payroll Assistant Responsibilities: Support all internal and external HR-related inquiries or requests. Process payroll and resolve any payroll errors. Maintain digital and physical records of employees. Update company databases for hires/rehires and terminations. Oversee the completion and filing of compensation documentation. HR Assistant Requirements: On-the-job experience in payroll or related data entry (essential). Effective organization and time management skills. Understanding of payroll functions and best practices. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines. Highly computer literate with capability in email, MS Office, and related business and communication tools. Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills. Meticulous attention to detail. Ability to accurately follow instructions.
