Job Description
TITLE: Registered Nurse - Emergency Nursing

SCHEDULE: Days, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week

ASSIGNMENT DETAILS:
Contract Length: 8 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week

REQUIREMENTS:
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Experience in emergency or trauma nursing preferred

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide nursing care for a designated group of patients during assigned shifts.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate patient care effectively.
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans based on the nursing process.
- Incorporate patient education and discharge planning into the overall care plan.
- Delegate appropriate tasks to other nursing staff while ensuring compliance with legal scope of practice.
- Maintain accurate patient records and comply with facility policies and procedures.

COMPLIANCE / NOTES:
- Background checks and drug screens may be required.
