Position Details: Registered Nurse (RN) – Med Surg, General Surgery 3W This position is on a General Surgery Medical-Surgical inpatient unit. This is not an Operating Room (OR) role. Qualifications Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent Licensure: Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program Must hold and maintain a current LPN license in Missouri and meet all State Board of Nursing requirements Comparable education experience and successful licensure may be considered Experience: New graduates and experienced LPNs welcome Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association (or within 30 days of hire) LPN-IV Certification completed prior to hire or within 3 months (up to 1 year based on unit requirements) Physical Requirements: Frequent standing and walking throughout shift Significant bending, stooping, and patient lifting/turning with assistance Ability to push, pull, and grip up to 50 lbs.
