Job Overview A law firm seeks a Senior Counsel - Employment Law to join their team in Redwood City, CA. This role involves managing employment law matters across U.S. offices, providing legal advice on issues such as employee relations, discrimination, and wage and hour matters. The position offers a hybrid work arrangement. Duties Conduct legal research and analysis on employment law topics. Draft, review, and negotiate employment-related documents. Assist with U.S. employment litigation and disputes. Monitor employment legislation and provide legal advice. Protect and maintain confidential and proprietary information. Requirements Broad knowledge of U.S. employment laws and regulations. Ability to conduct legal research and draft detailed work product. Strong client counseling skills with clear communication of legal concepts. Education Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school. Certifications Active bar membership in good standing in a U.S. jurisdiction. Skills Minimum of four years of employment law experience. Experience with counseling and/or employment litigation. Prior experience with a law firm, Office of General Counsel or in-house role preferred. Benefits Healthcare, life, and disability insurance. Generous 401k plan.
