Responsibilities: 
As a customer service representative with State Farm, you will be an important part of creating exceptional customer experiences and supporting the day- to -day needs of our policyholders. We are looking for a dependable, customer-focused, and empathetic team member who enjoys helping people and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

** We are looking to fill this position quickly. Candidates must either currently hold a Michigan Property & Casualty license or be willing and able to obtain their Michigan P & C license prior to their start date. **

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, solving problems, and building lasting customer relationships. Insurance experience is preferred, but we are willing to consider candidates with strong customer service experience who are committed to obtaining their license.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Answer customer inquiries and provide policy information.
• Assist customers with policy changes and updates.
• Connect with customers regarding billing and needed documents.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions.
• Additional tasks assigned by management.
• Communicate with customers by phone, email, and in person. 
• Maintain accurate customer records and documentation.
• Identify opportunities to assist customers with additional insurance needs. 
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management. 

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Current Michigan Property & Casualty insurance license OR willingness to obtain the license prior to starting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Previous insurance or customer service experience preferred.
• Must be dependable, professional, and comfortable speaking with customers.
