Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel MRI Technologist with Siemens and inpatient hospital experience for a 13-week assignment at a large academic medical center in Baltimore, MD.

Details

• Inpatient MRI department within a large academic hospital (500+ bed facility)
• Schedule: Tuesday and Wednesday 4:00 PM – 4:30 AM, and Saturday 8:00 AM – 8:30 PM
• 12-hour evening shifts
• Performs diagnostic MRI of organs, organ systems, and blood flow studies

Requirements

• ARRT (R)(MR) certification required
• Current BLS via AHA required
• Siemens MRI scanner experience required
• Inpatient hospital experience required
• Experience at a 500+ bed facility required
• License required if applicable
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• 1 professional reference required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provides radiologists with diagnostic-quality images for comprehensive reporting to referring physicians
• Orients physicians, residents, staff, and student technologists in MRI objectives, applications, and safety protocols
• Assists nursing staff as needed, including documentation in Pyxis
• Reports to the MRI Manager or Chief Imaging Technologist
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers
