Quality Control InspectorThis role involves overseeing the inspection of raw materials and finished products to ensure quality standards are met throughout the manufacturing process. The position requires providing technical guidance to production staff and supporting the quality department in maintaining inspection and testing protocols. It is suited for individuals with a solid background in quality control, non-destructive testing, and manufacturing processes.Responsibilities:Conduct incoming, in-process, and final inspections of raw materials and finished goodsPerform and document Magnetic Testing, Dye Penetrant Testing, and CR Film InterpretationEstablish non-conformity reports and quarantine non-conforming products to prevent further processingMaintain databases, reports, and records supporting quality assurance and control activitiesEnsure tools and instruments are compliant with ISO procedures and QA/QC standardsCollaborate with the Quality Manager to improve processes, equipment, and toolsProvide technical assistance to manufacturing teams in defect detection, acceptance, and rejection proceduresArchive technical data, codes, and standards to enhance customer satisfactionSupport non-destructive testing (NDT) activities and ensure certification requirements are metAssist in continuous improvement efforts regarding inspection techniques and equipmentQualifications:Experience in quality control, inspection, or related manufacturing processesKnowledge of welding, NDE methods, and inspection standards is highly advantageousAbility to perform magnetic testing, dye penetrant testing, and interpret CR film resultsFamiliarity with machine design, machining, drawings, and QC activitiesWillingness to learn new technical tools such as 3D arm, PMI, and OES devicesAbility to obtain MT, PT, and RFI certificationsStrong organizational skills with flexibility and stress resistanceReliable, accurate, and detail-orientedOpen to working in a hybrid schedule, with time split between remote and on-siteMust be legally authorized to work in the United States.Publishing Pay Range: $18.00 – $24.00 Hourly This position offers a hybrid schedule, with time split between the office and remote work.About GDH:At GDH, we believe in the power of people and the importance of caring.
