Quality Inspector IPryer Aerospace Tulsa - Tulsa, OK 74115OverviewPosition Type Full Time Category QA - Quality ControlDescriptionPRYER Aerospace is hiring for a Full Time Quality Inspector for 1st Shift at the Tulsa facility. PRYER Aerospace is a leading provider of structural components, assemblies and kits to the aerospace industry. We specialize in the fabrication of complex sheet metal and machined components for commercial, corporate and military aircraft.Applies basic technical skills and knowledge to perform in-process and final inspections of aircraft components, and parts to ensure the products meet company, customer and Federal Aviation Administration specifications and standards.Inspect manufactured parts and raw materials for conformity to standards, specifications and processing requirements.Verify specifications using purchase orders, blueprints, drawings or inspection instructions and checklists.Maintain inspection records to meet company, customer and FAA requirements.Perform in-process and final inspection and functional testing tasks such as hardness and conductivity that are simple to moderately complex requiring some skill, experience and judgment to complete.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.QualificationsEDUCATION:Associate degree in Inspection Technology and/or a minimum of two (2) years of inspection experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.EXPERIENCE:AS9102 FAI experience requiredDemonstrated knowledge of AS9100 and ISO9001 quality systems.Assembly experience utilizing assembly jig tooling.CMM, Faro Arm or Laser tracking experience a plusUnderstanding of modeling and GD&T tolerancingMay be required to operate forklifts occasionally.COMPUTER SKILLS: Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel.Employees receive excellent compensation and benefits with medical, dental and vision, 401(k), paid vacation and holidays.Pryer Aerospace is proud to be an equal opportunity employer Male/Female/Disabled/Veteran
