Job Title: Workplace Coordinator

Location: San Francisco, CA (Onsite)

The hourly rate for this position is expected to be between $80.00 - $80.00 per hour, depending on geographic location, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

Employment Type: Temporary, approximately 6 months
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Schedule: Monday - Friday, standard business hours

Job Summary:

• Coordinate and manage vendors for daily office operations, including deliveries, office supplies and janitorial services
• Respond to internal ticketing requests within SLAs with clear, timely and empathetic communication
• Address workplace issues promptly (e.g., elevator outages, plumbing issues, appliance failures), engage the right vendors and keep employees informed until the issue is resolved
• Perform minor repairs and maintenance, and coordinate vendors for more complex repairs
• Set up furniture for meetings and events, and set up workstations, including monitors and ergonomic equipment
• Support HVAC and preventive maintenance, office moves, restacks, safety, permits, inspections and code compliance
• Maintain Standard Operating Procedures and partner with People Operations, Security and vendors on emergency response and office culture

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience in workplace coordination and building operations
• Working knowledge of building systems such as HVAC, elevators, plumbing and lighting, with the ability to supervise maintenance, repairs and services
• Service-minded, solution-oriented approach with a hospitality mindset
• Strong organizational, communication and multitasking skills, with sound judgment on priorities
• Hands-on attitude, with no task too big or too small
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Preferred: experience managing vendors, workplace programs (HVAC, preventive maintenance, office moves) or permit and inspection requirements in a multi-building or high-growth environment
