Welder/Fabricator PositionNesco Resource is currently seeking experienced Welders/Fabricators for a well-established manufacturing company in Lakeland, FL. This position offers stable, year-round employment in a production fabrication environment building conveyor systems and material-handling equipment.This is not an entry-level role. Candidates should have prior fabrication experience, be comfortable reading blueprints, and be capable of independently completing assemblies from start to finish.ResponsibilitiesRead and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, and work orders.Verify materials and component specifications before fabrication.Cut, grind, bevel, drill, and prepare materials for assembly.Client out, fit, and fabricate steel components and assemblies.Perform MIG and flux-core welding on structural steel components.Grind, clean, and finish weldments for final production.Inspect completed assemblies to ensure quality and dimensional accuracy.Operate fabrication equipment and hand tools safely and efficiently.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.Work independently and as part of a fabrication team.QualificationsPrevious welding and fabrication experience required.Strong blueprint-reading and measuring skills.Experience with MIG and/or flux-core welding.Ability to use standard fabrication tools and equipment.Ability to work with minimal supervision and manage projects independently.Forklift and overhead crane experience is a plus.Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.Physical RequirementsAbility to lift up to 60 lbs.Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and lifting throughout the shift.Ability to safely work around fabrication equipment and machinery.Ability to work in a production manufacturing environment.Benefits May IncludeCompetitive pay based on experience.Hiring incentive opportunities.Medical, dental, and vision insurance.Life insurance coverage.401(k) with company match.Paid holidays and PTO.Uniforms and annual safety boot allowance.Long-term career growth opportunities.If you have welding and fabrication experience and are looking for a stable first-shift opportunity with a growing manufacturing company, apply now through Nesco Resource.Nesco Resource offers a comprehensive benefits package for our associates, which includes a MEC (Minimum Essential Coverage) plan that encompasses Medical, Vision, Dental, 401K, and EAP (Employee Assistance Program) services.
