Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 36 Hours per Week | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Manage chronic illness and disability needs for patients on a 29-bed Medical/Surgical unit
• Perform daily physical assessments and reassess with any change in patient status
• Administer medications as ordered and ensure accurate, timely documentation in Epic EMR
• Update and review care plans and patient education on a weekly basis
• Write clinical notes as needed to reflect patient progress and clinical decisions
• Ensure patient safety and serve as an advocate for patient well-being throughout the care continuum

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg nursing experience
• Proficiency with Epic EMR
• Ability to float to other units as needed
• Must adhere to a fragrance-free dress code policy

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in a Medical/Surgical setting
• Experience caring for patients with complex chronic conditions and disabilities
