This is a Night shift position; 10:00pm – 08:30am (hours may vary); initial training hours may be conducted during day shift hours. Eligible for night shift differential. Additional Note: This position requires flexibility to accommodate varying patient needs. Shifts may include days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. On-call responsibilities and mandatory overtime may also be necessary.

As a successful candidate, you will: Performs a variety of complex laboratory tests and procedures according to prescribed protocols and assigned schedules. Completes procedures within established turnaround times Performs quality control procedures including preventive maintenance, calibrations, review of controls, and records data on appropriate forms. Supports and participates in the Quality Assurance efforts and Performance Improvement process. Utilizes standard laboratory equipment, and records and checks result for completeness and accuracy. Performs data entry of diagnostic information.

Your qualifications should include: Bachelor's Degree; Military applicants without a Bachelor's degree with the approval of CDPH-LFS (California Department of Public Health – Laboratory Field Services) Minimum 2 years as a certified or licensed clinical laboratory scientist California Clinical Laboratory Scientist ( Highly Preferred: CA Clinical Laboratory Scientist (Generalist) – MTA) Note: For candidates with less than 2 years of experiences, may be considered for Clinical Laboratory Scientist I (Pay range: $43.17hr - $55.04/hr - $66.92/hr) City of Hope employees pay is based on the following criteria: work experience, qualifications, and work location.
