Must-Have: Charge Nurse experience required. Outpatient chronic and acute dialysis experience required.

Description: The Registered Nurse will work in a dialysis unit. This position involves providing care to patients receiving dialysis treatment. The nurse will be responsible for administering blood and blood products. Skills required include the ability to cannulate AV grafts and fistulas. Experience with various alarms and patient monitoring systems is essential. The nurse will participate in infection control measures. Candidates should be prepared for possible call responsibilities during evenings and weekends. Floating to other dialysis locations may be required. Charge Nurse responsibilities may include overseeing a 24-chair unit. The nurse should be familiar with interpreting dysrhythmias and managing patient emergencies. BLS certification is mandatory for this position. Strong communication and teamwork skills are necessary to work effectively in this setting. Experience with electronic health records (Epic) is preferred.
