Overview
Registered Nurse – Med Surg hard at work in a Short Term Acute Care Hospital setting in Ukiah, California. Start date: 11/09/2026 for a 13-week travel assignment. Weekly pay ranges from $1,829 to $1,878, with guaranteed 36 hours per week. Shift is 3x12-hour nights. This role supports Med/Surg patients on a telemetry-capable unit.

Responsibilities
- Deliver and coordinate nursing care for an assigned group of Med/Surg/Telemetry patients using established standards and the nursing process.
- Collect relevant data, assess patient health, analyze findings, and determine care issues and priorities.
- Develop and implement a care plan, coordinate care with the patient, family, and multidisciplinary team, and promote a safe, healing environment.
- Implement the plan, monitor patient progress, adjust interventions as needed, and participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
- Direct supervision of activities across nursing staff levels, delegate tasks appropriately, and coordinate duties within the unit.
- Provide patient and family education, communicate health information to the treatment team, and maintain accurate Epic documentation.

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in California (state of practice) required
- Minimum of 2 years of recent acute-care Med/Surg/Telemetry experience
- BLS/CPR certification required
- ACLS certification required
- PALS certification required
- Epic EMR experience required
