Responsibilities

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group, following standard nursing processes
• Collect and analyze health data, determine diagnoses, develop and implement care plans
• Administer medications, monitor patient status, and respond to changes in condition
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary team; supervise and direct activities of nursing staff as assigned
• Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care; provide education to patients and families
• Maintain a safe, healing environment and document care accurately

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license in California (state of practice)
• BLS/CPR required; ACLS certification required; PALS certification required per policy
• BSN preferred
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in med/surg or acute care
• Ability to work the listed night shift and participate in weekend rotations
• Must be able to work in a hospital setting as a travel nurse and meet onboarding requirements
