Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for an assigned group of Med Surg patients using the nursing process.
- Collect and interpret data, develop a care plan, implement interventions, and evaluate progress toward outcomes.
- Administer medications and therapies, monitor responses, and report changes to the care team.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other health professionals; provide education to patients and families; participate in discharge planning.
- Supervise and direct activities of licensed practical nurses and other nursing staff as assigned; delegate tasks appropriately.
- Document care in the electronic health record, maintain patient safety, and uphold professional standards and policies.

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in the state of practice (California)
- BLS certification; ACLS certification; PALS certification (required per policy)
- EPIC EMR experience or certification required
- Minimum two years of recent nursing experience in Med Surg or acute-care settings
- Education: BSN preferred
