Sourcing CoordinatorSourcing Coordinator will support the Sourcing group in making supplier selection decisions and in managing the Company's supply Base. This will include interacting with external suppliers, executing business processes, and projects to improve supplier performance or internal processes. The ideal candidate will have some prior experience in a supply chain organization supporting a manufacturing environment and must feel comfortable interacting with suppliers.ResponsibilitiesFollow-up, expedite, de-expedite open orders to align with demand.Execute sample purchase orders and order acknowledgements managing dates appropriately.Work with Manager to identify the correct sources to quote components.Develop Request for Quotes and analyze responses when received from suppliersInteract with suppliers and internal departments to answer questions on any open ordersLoad pertinent information into ERP system based on source selectionProcess and Data ManagementLead projects to improve internal processes and follow-up on issuesRun reports and analyze data to define areas of opportunity for improvementSupport Supply Chain team in projects to improve Delivery and Cost from the Supply Base.Invoice/price resolutionIssue PO's on an as needed basisLoad PPAPs for new part qualificationQualificationRequires a bachelor's degree in a related field or 5 years of experience in Supply Chain OperationsMinimum 1-3 years Sourcing/Supply Chain experience in a manufacturing environmentExperience quoting products with suppliersRunning reports and analyzing dataTechnical SkillsProficient in the use of computer applications Microsoft Word, Excel and AccessExcellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to interact and clearly communicate with other functional areas of the organization, management and suppliers.The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $25.00 - $27.00 /hr . Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages.
