Registered Nurse (RN) - Rehab

Registered Nurse Pediatric and Adult Acute Rehabilitation and Physical Medicine

Schedule

36 hours per week, Day/Eve/Night shifts, 8- and 12-hour shifts; holidays and weekends as per unit policy.

Assignment Details

Contract length: 36 or 48 hours per week.

Requirements

• 2 years of Med Surg experience
• NYS RN license
• AHA BLS certification required
• Telemetry experience required
• Recent pediatric experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and emotional support to patients and families.
• Assist patients in regaining independence after complex medical conditions.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team for a variety of patient needs including Stroke, Brain Injury, SCI, Trauma, Orthopedic, Neuro, Oncology, Pediatric, Solid Organ Transplant, and Heart Failure.
• Monitor patient conditions and report changes to the healthcare team.
• Implement care plans tailored to individual patient needs.
