Permanent or Fixed-term, Full-Time & Part time positions (64 or 80 hrs + ADO - negotiable) Grade 3 RPN, Social Worker or Occupational Therapist - Salary range: $95,732.00 - $115,304.80 Great Staff benefits Alfred Health Location Department Alfred Mental & Addiction Health (AMAH) is responsible for the operation of services which focus on people with a mental illness residing in the Inner South Eastern area of Melbourne. About The Role Are you passionate about making a difference in the mental health sector? The Adult and Older Adult Department combines the strengths of AMAH Adult Community Mental Health and Caulfield Aged and Liaison Psychiatry Services. Our mission is to provide comprehensive, person-centred support to adults and older adults through an expansive range of therapeutic, addiction, trauma-informed, and family violence services. As part of our commitment to the Royal Commission into Victoria’s Mental Health recommendations and the Victorian Mental Health and Wellbeing Act 2022, we’re expanding our offerings to ensure clients benefit from specialist expertise alongside access to innovative, broad-spectrum care options. This includes specialised pathways for substance use disorders, rehabilitation and recovery, physical and mental health integration, and trauma-focused services. Our department focuses on integrated treatment, education, peer support, care planning, and navigation services, designed to support individuals through every stage of their recovery journey. About You A current Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board via AHPRA preferably with Psychiatric endorsements or equivalent - Postgraduate qualifications in psychiatric nursing are strongly preferred; OR Current registration with the Occupational Therapy Board via AHPRA to practice with the National Board; OR. Eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers. Experience in a range of psychiatric interventions indicating an ability to perform community-based psychiatric assessment including that of risk assessment. A current driver’s licence is required to undertake this role.
