Work Location: Rancho Cucamonga in office 8-5 daily


Pay : $100 - $115K

About the Role: The Senior Staff Accountant reports to the Director of Accounting. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, general ledger accountability, financial reporting, profitability analysis, and other special projects as assigned.

Must haves : Must have a degree, Inventory, excel (xlookups, pivot tables), Fixed Assets, Sales Use Tax,


Like to have : Audit experience, someone who is a lifer would be preferred (10-15 years as a Senior)

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:

• Prepare monthly financial statements and reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing account information
• Responsible for general ledger accounts
• Assist in the budgeting and forecasting process
• Maintain and reconcile fixed asset schedules
• Maintain bank accounts, provide cash availability and forecasting
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts
• Perform monthly balance sheet, income statement and changes in financial position variance analyses
• Research and reconcile all discrepancies
• Provide data and assistance to facilitate in the financial audit
• Assess internal controls including risk assessments and reviews of risk areas
• Identify and implement innovative processes to enhance the accounting and finance functions and their integrity
• Financial and profitability analysis on a requested basis
• Supporting in monthly financial closing process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting
• Skilled in preparing and delivering ad hoc reports tailored to business needs and leadership requests

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and/or related field
• Four to five years of Accounting/Finance experience
• Ability to communicate effectively when dealing with customers, vendors and associates
• Ability to maintain good working relationships with customers, vendors and associates
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Proficiency using Excel & Word and the ability to learn new computer applications
