What this job involves - The VP of Business Development performs account management for JLL's Real Estate Due Diligence (JREDD) clients. This role drives revenue growth by managing business development activities and supporting JREDD business leaders in pursuing strategic opportunities.Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development & SalesCreate and manage pursuit lists using internal networks and third-party B2B servicesExecute campaigns to generate new opportunitiesManage the complete sales cycle from outreach to contract closureCoordinate with JREDD service delivery managers for client request scoping, pricing, and timingDevelop and present proposals to prospective clientsAccount ManagementMaintain relationships with existing JREDD clientsEnsure service goals and objectives are established and achievedImplement corrective action plans when service delivery varies from expectationsPerform project management oversight for portfolio and hybrid-support accountsIndustry Engagement & Market IntelligenceParticipate in industry events, associations, and marketing initiativesMonitor and communicate industry trends related to ASTM standards and vendor complianceConduct semi-annual vendor reviews with clientsTravel domestically and internationally for client meetings, networking events, and conferencesService Knowledge & CommunicationArticulate JREDD service offerings across three core areas: Facility Condition Assessments (FCA) Asset Validation (Reliability Engineering/Optimized Data Standard) Facility Database Services Regulatory Compliance Audits (RCA) Create pitch deck content and marketing materialsCoordinate across the business service delivery matrixReporting & AnalysisMaintain CRM reporting with clear pipeline visibilityTrack confidence percentages and project timelinesProvide regular updates on business development effortsRequired QualificationsEducation & ExperienceBachelor's degree requiredMinimum 10 years of experience in commercial real estate Proven track record in client management and account developmentMastery-level knowledge of due diligence scope differences for underwriting and acquisition/disposition transactionsCore CompetenciesExpert-level analytical and quantitative skillsIn-depth knowledge of financial terms and principlesAbility to calculate complex figures and understand pro forma profit and lossAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteExcellent time management and organizational abilitiesCommunication SkillsOutstanding written and verbal communication abilitiesStrong presentation skills for both technical and non-technical audiencesEffective problem-solving and negotiation capabilitiesAbility to handle sensitive issues and complex client inquiriesPosition DetailsSupervisory Responsibilities: NoneTravel Requirements: Domestic travel required; international travel possibleCertificates/Licenses: None requiredDecision-Making Authority: Operates within established procedures and policies with impact on departmental deadlines and outcomesThis role offers the opportunity to drive meaningful revenue growth while building lasting client relationships in the commercial real estate due diligence sector.This position does not provide visa sponsorship.
