Portfolio Manager The Portfolio Manager is responsible for managing the credit quality, risk profile, and ongoing performance of an assigned commercial loan portfolio. This role partners closely with Relationship Managers to support new business opportunities and existing client relationships through strong credit analysis, underwriting, and portfolio monitoring. The Portfolio Manager ensures compliance with bank credit policies and regulatory standards while helping drive profitable, well-structured growth. Job Requirements Underwrite new loan requests, renewals, and modifications Perform financial statement and cash flow analysis Monitor portfolio performance, covenants, and risk ratings Identify and elevate potential credit issues early Prepare clear, well-supported credit memorandums Ensure compliance with credit policy and regulatory guidelines Collaborate with Relationship Managers and Credit Administration Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field 3–7+ years of experience in commercial credit, underwriting, or portfolio management Strong knowledge of C&I and/or CRE lending Proficiency in financial spreading and cash flow analysis Excellent written, analytical, and communication skills Base pay range $100,000.00/yr - $130,000.00/yr Seniority level Director Employment type Full-time Job function Management Industry Banking #J-18808-Ljbffr New Edge Associates a Talent Acquisition Firm
