This role is ideal for someone who enjoys deep analysis, credit evaluation, and hands-on exposure to investment decision-making in a non-traditional asset class. You’ll work closely with senior leadership and an investment committee, evaluating potential funding opportunities, conducting due diligence, and supporting the structuring and execution of investments. This is a high-visibility role with strong long‑term growth potential. What You’ll Be Doing Evaluate potential investment opportunities, including borrower creditworthiness and underlying collateral Assess the full deal ecosystem: origination, operations, legal strategy, counsel, insurers, experts, and service providers Partner with subject matter experts to assess legal risk, budgets, and case strategy across various case types Financial & Credit Analysis Build detailed financial models to forecast funding requirements and expected returns Develop tools to evaluate collateral value and downside protection Design and maintain covenant and collateral tracking tools Audit use of proceeds and monitor collateral performance over time Investment Decision Support Prepare investment memos, risk assessments, and recommendations for the Investment Committee Research new case types and asset structures, defining success criteria and risk parameters Support deal structuring, negotiations, and documentation alongside senior leadership What We’re Looking For Education Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Law, or a related field Advanced certifications (CFA, CPA, ACA, or legal qualifications) are a plus Experience 5+ years of experience in investment analysis 2+ years of hands‑on credit analysis experience Skills Strong financial modeling, analytical, and research skills Commercial mindset with the ability to assess risk vs. return in complex or non‑traditional investments Clear communicator with the ability to present insights to senior stakeholders Ideal Profile Proactive, detail‑oriented, and comfortable managing multiple workstreams Curious and resourceful, with strong ownership mentality Thrives in fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environments Seniority level Mid‑Senior level Employment type Full‑time Job function Finance Industries Legal Services and Financial Services Benefits Medical insurance Vision insurance 401(k) Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Talent Haus by 2x #J-18808-Ljbffr Talent Haus
