JOB OVERVIEWProvides The Department of Energy (DOE) Hanford Site Project Controls Support Services for the Waste Treatment and Immobilization Plant Project (WTP).RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIESSCOPE OF WORKAssist with oversight of contractor support and analyzation of improvements in contractor’s Assurance Program.Provide Waste Treatment and Immobilization Plant Project (WTP) Performance Assurance support to Assistant Manager of Waste Treatment Program (AMWTP), Deputy Assistant Manager of Waste Treatment Program (AMWTP), and Division Directors, to perform management assessments, action tracking and record management.Participate in Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC), WTP High Level Waste (HLW) assessment progress and Direct Feed High Level Waste (DFHLW) configurations.Review and comment on new and revised Performance Assurances procedures and WTP oversight reports.Provide support to the WTP Assistant Manager and Deputy Assistant Manager.Provide auditing and training support.QualificationsDesired Qualifications For the Project Controls Specialist - Waste Treatment and Immobilization Plant Project (PR0174) | Full-Time [W-2] Candidates:The Project Controls Specialist - Waste Treatment and Immobilization Plant Project - GSSC shall have consecutive employment in a position with comparable responsibilities within the past five (5) years, Must be able to use a computer to communicate via email; and proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word/Excel/PowerPoint) and related tools and technology required for the position.Skills / Abilities / Education / Experience Requirements / QualificationsQUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTSProject Controls Specialist shall possess the following minimum qualifications:Education – BS/BA degree in engineering, science, or business management.
