Location: Elkridge, MD (100% onsite)

Salary: $65-80k

Introduction
We are looking for a hands on Technical Marketing Specialist who enjoys working at the intersection of technology and marketing. This role focuses on turning complex products and services into clear, compelling stories that drive awareness, interest, and sales. You will support a growing B2B business by helping customers understand technical value, performance, and return on investment through thoughtful marketing strategies and execution. This position is ideal for someone who is adaptable, self directed, and comfortable working in a small, fast moving team environment.

The Role/Responsibilities

Plan and execute marketing initiatives that support business and revenue goals
Translate technical specifications, engineering concepts, and performance data into customer focused messaging
Develop and maintain marketing content including website copy, case studies, email campaigns, and sales materials
Manage digital marketing activities such as paid search, analytics, email platforms, and social media
Support lead generation efforts and sales enablement through targeted campaigns and materials
Conduct market and competitor research to inform positioning and messaging
Track, analyze, and report on campaign performance and key marketing metrics
Partner closely with engineers, project teams, and leadership to ensure technical accuracy and consistency
Maintain and regularly update website content and digital assets
Assist with branding, positioning, trade shows, and industry events as needed

Skills/Experiences required

- Bachelors degree in marketing, business, communications, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- At least 2 years of marketing experience, preferably in a technical, engineering, or B2B environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify complex ideas
- Comfort working with technical subject matter and data driven messaging
- Experience using digital marketing and analytics tools such as Google Analytics, CRM systems, and email platforms
- Working knowledge of Google Ads and digital advertising best practices
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Self motivated, adaptable, and comfortable taking ownership in a small team setting
- Bonus skills include marketing automation experience and basic design experience using tools like Canva or Adobe products
