divh2Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Full Time/h2pThe Respiratory Therapist provides comprehensive respiratory care services to patients across all applicable areas of the facility. This role is responsible for performing therapeutic and diagnostic procedures, monitoring patient responses, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure safe, high-quality patient care./ph3Key Responsibilities/h3ulliDeliver direct patient care and perform respiratory therapy procedures in accordance with established policies and clinical standards/liliAssess patient conditions, monitor responses to treatment, and adjust care as appropriate in collaboration with the care team/liliOrganize workload to ensure timely and effective completion of prescribed therapies/liliRespond promptly to emergency situations and provide appropriate respiratory interventions/liliAccurately document patient care, treatments, and outcomes in medical records/liliCommunicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members regarding patient status and care plans/liliEvaluate patient outcomes and provide recommendations for ongoing care/liliParticipate in departmental meetings, continuing education, and professional development activities/liliMaintain a professional demeanor and provide excellent customer service to patients, families, and staff/liliPerform additional duties as assigned/li/ulh3Qualifications/h3pstrongEducation Experience/strong/pulliAssociate degree in Respiratory Care from a CoARC-accredited program/liliZero to less than one year of experience (new graduates encouraged to apply)/li/ulpstrongLicensure Certifications/strong/pulliRegistered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required (or must be obtained within 3 months of hire for new graduates)/liliParticipation in the NBRC Continuing Competency Program (if credentialed after July 1, 2002)/liliBasic Life Support (BLS) certification required/liliAdvanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required within 3 months of hire/liliPediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required within 6 months of hire/li/ulh3Key Skills Attributes/h3ulliStrong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills/liliAbility to respond effectively in emergency situations/liliExcellent communication and teamwork abilities/liliStrong organizational and documentation skills/liliCommitment to patient-centered care and continuous improvement/li/ul/div
