As the leader of consumer lending operations, you'll:

• Support sound credit practices and risk management
• Ensure consistency and quality throughout the lending process
• Balance member service with responsible lending principles

Influence Strategy and Growth

You'll play a key role in helping North Star achieve its goals.

Responsibilities include:

• Monitoring lending trends, performance, and portfolio quality
• Identifying opportunities for process improvement and innovation
• Collaborating with executive leadership on lending initiatives
• Supporting strategic growth while protecting the financial strength of the organization

Ensure Compliance and Operational Excellence

Strong lending organizations are built on trust and discipline.

You'll:

• Ensure compliance with lending regulations and internal policies
• Monitor portfolio performance and risk exposure
• Maintain operational efficiency and process integrity
• Promote best practices across all lending functions

What We're Looking ForExperience

• Five or more years of consumer lending, credit administration, or financial services experience
• Leadership experience with a demonstrated ability to coach and develop teams
• Experience making lending decisions and managing risk
• Proven success driving performance, growth, and operational effectiveness

Knowledge & Expertise

• Strong understanding of consumer underwriting and credit analysis
• Comprehensive knowledge of lending regulations and compliance requirements
• Experience using loan origination systems and lending technology
• Ability to analyze trends and make informed business decisions

Preferred

• Credit union experience
• Community banking experience
• Experience leading lending operations in a growth-focused environment
