Job Description

We are seeking several Nurses (LPN and/or RN) to join our team! You will be responsible for the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of assigned patients.

Responsibilities:

Correctional LPN/RN cares for and treats detainees in correctional facilities.
Duties will include but are not limited to medication administration, immunizations, admissions, and emergency first aid
Monitor basic patient health, i.e. vital signs and overall condition and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior
Provides safe and effective nursing care and assumes responsibility for the care delivered
Provides direct basic care to assign multiple clients within the structure of the healthcare program at their facility
Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient care
Maintain accurate patient medical records
Dressing changes on wounds
Assist with and/ or procedures and administration of medications.

Qualifications:

Graduation from an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse program
Currently licensed as a Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of employment or Compact State Nursing License
Possession of an active CPR certification
Minimum 1 year of relevant experience
A background check, security clearance and drug screening are required for this role
