Job Title Seasonal Summer Painter Position Information Department: Facilities Reports to: Assistant Director of Facilities Effective Date: 5/11/2026 Number of Hires: 6 Number of People Supported: Campus Wide Duties/Responsibilities Perform interior painting in Residence Halls and other buildings on Campus. Perform exterior painting when necessary. Assist Trades and Handy people with various tasks when requested. Assist with office and furniture moves when necessary. Other duties may be assigned within the scope of work of the Facilities Department. Required Skills/Abilities Good communication and interpersonal skills. Should be organized and able to handle multiple tasks. Must have a valid NYS Driver's License. Must be able to work from 8:00AM to 4:00PM, Monday through Friday. Qualifications Must have a valid NYS Driver's License. Education High School Diploma or Equivalent. Physical Requirements Must be able to lift 80 pounds. Prolonged periods of physical labor. Salary $17.00 per hour. Hours Expectation 40 hours per week. 8:00AM to 4:00PM. Monday through Friday. Seasonal position: May - August/September. Housing Housing is not provided.
