Job Overview A law firm seeks a Renewable Energy Project Development & Finance Associate with over three years of experience to join their team in Phoenix, Arizona. The role involves working on innovative renewable energy projects, including wind, solar, geothermal, hydrogen, and battery storage, across the United States. Duties Collaborate with clients on renewable energy project development and finance. Draft and negotiate power purchase agreements and other related contracts. Advise on mergers, acquisitions, and commercial contracts. Engage with conventional energy producers transitioning to clean energy. Requirements Minimum of three years of law firm experience in relevant fields. Preferred experience in the renewable energy industry. Strong written and oral communication skills. Team-oriented and collaborative approach. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications Active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction. Skills Proficiency in drafting and negotiating complex agreements. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
