Field Service Technician

Full Time Field Service Technician – Fort Worth, TXRobotics and Digital Solutions (RDS) Division of The Hillman Group has two openings for a Full Time Field Service Technician in the Fort Worth area. You would begin your career with RDS as a Kiosk Technician training on key duplicating (Minute Key), tag engraving (Quick Tag) kiosks as well as 3rd party service (Eco-ATM, Pokémon).The territory consists of 70+ kiosks and number of hours per week is around 40. This role is based on experience, usually paying $22-24 an hour. Car Allowance will be provided along with cell-phone reimbursement and a corporate gas card for business miles.Benefits:World Class Benefit plans include Health, Dental, Life-, Short- and Long-term disability insurance as well as a 401k plan!Wellness ProgramEmployee Stock Purchase PlanVacation/Paid Time Off/Sick Days/Floating HolidaysEssential Job Functions*Re-stock and perform routine service on kiosks as needed (determined by demand at the machine, or schedule).Perform on-call repairs or adjustments to the machine when the machine goes out of order.New kiosk Installations or swap newer kiosks of machines in the local area.Monitor machines in territory daily for issues and contact stores to resolve connectivity or power issues.Keep track of inventory for re-stocking machines that are in Kiosk Tech's possession.Grow revenue in territory by optimizing machine locations, uptime, product mix, store relationships, etc.*This job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee. Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change, or new ones may be assigned at any time with or without notice.Education & ExperienceHigh School Diploma or GEDBackground in electromechanical repair and maintenance (preferred).Prior experience in retail merchandising, field operations and customer service (preferred).A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a similar profile (preferred).Experience with tools and troubleshooting mechanical problems.Ability to read, write and speak fluent English to include technical "jargon".Competencies – Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesComputer literacy, including knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and OutlookAbility to always represent Hillman professionallyAbility to work weekends when requiredOperational EquipmentMust have an excellent driving record with a valid driver's license. Clean driving record is mandatory. Major driving violations will eliminate potential candidates.Must have reliable transportation with automobile insurance (mileage reimbursement)Must have a reliable cell phone (reimbursed)Work Environment and Physical DemandsSales/Service: Environment varies due to location/store set-up. May be exposed to cramped quarters, dust, fumes, or odors. Travel required daily. May have to drive 200 miles daily. Hand/eye coordination required.
