Retail SupervisorOur retail supervisors are responsible for creating the ultimate experience for the fan. If you have a passion for retail, an outgoing personality, love to sell, enjoy working in teams and strive to create relationships with the fans, this is the place for you.Essential FunctionsProvide an exciting, positive, and fun environment for our diverse team & fan baseGreet guests & ascertain their interest, so you may make sales recommendationsExcellent accuracy when using POS systemsDemonstrate ownership in cleaning, re-stocking, & any other tasks assigned by supervisorPresent merchandise to increase sale with add on itemsMust be able to describe merchandise features, benefits, and explain useKeep current on promotions & sales in store: and events on the Michigan athletics campus and campus in generalMaintain inventory, merchandise placement, and accurate counts. Assist in inventoryContinually increase knowledge of product, facility, and all events held at the storeOther duties as assigned by supervisorMust be able to read & implement plan-o-gramsAssist the store set-up team with the merchandising of event gift shops including plan-o-grams, merchandise placement, inventory control, cleaning of shops & fixturesMerchandising skills a plusQualificationsTo perform this job successfully, the candidate must be able to perform each essential duty above at the highest levels.
