Job Details Position Title: Adjunct Instructor Position Type: Visiting / Part-time Faculty Hours Per Week: 40 Duration of Appointment: 1 year Location: North Carolina, US Application Deadline: 06/20/2026 Position Number: 20076290 Primary Purpose Of Organizational Unit Our mission is to improve the health and well-being of North Carolinians and others whom we serve. Research: We develop and support a rich array of outstanding health sciences research programs, centers and resources. We provide infrastructure and opportunities for collaboration among disciplines throughout and beyond our university to support outstanding research. We foster programs in the areas of basic, translational, mechanistic and population research. Position Summary The Division of Radiologic Science Department of Health Sciences, UNC School of Medicine, invites applications for the position of Adjunct Instructor in the Radiologic Science program. Responsibilities include teaching a masters level course in pharmacology related to clinical practice for patient assessment and procedure decision-making. The course does not include prescription level knowledge. Course is offered Summer Session II. Minimum Education And Experience Requirements The instructor must hold a PharmD degree or doctorate degree in a related subject with included knowledge and experience in health physics. Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, And Experience Work experience in health/medical physics; teaching experience at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
