Position Position: Benefits Operations Lead/Supervisor Location: Honolulu Employment Type: Full-Time, In-Office Salary: $88,000 – $120,000 annually, depending on experience Job Summary A healthcare organization is seeking an experienced Benefits Operations Lead to oversee daily benefits administration and ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies. This role is both hands‑on and leadership‑focused, supporting benefit programs for a diverse employee population while driving accuracy, efficiency, and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail‑oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment. Responsibilities Oversee daily benefits operations Manage open enrollment and ongoing benefit transactions Serve as a subject matter expert for benefit inquiries Supervise billing and invoice reconciliation Perform audits Support payroll validation Maintain data integrity across HRIS and vendor systems Manage leave casesConduct benefit presentations Support staff development Identify opportunities to improve or automate processes Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field 3–5 years of experience in benefits administration, including leave management Strong knowledge of benefit regulations Proficiency with Excel and HRIS systems Strong problem‑solving skills Ability to manage deadlines In-state applicants only.
