A well-established consumer products manufacturing organization is seeking a hands-on Controller to lead accounting operations and financial reporting. Immediate need due to organizational growth. Charlotte, NC. To strengthen financial controls, enhance reporting, and support strategic decision-making. On-site role in a fast-paced, collaborative manufacturing environment.

Position Overview:

The Controller will oversee all aspects of accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and internal controls for a dynamic consumer goods company. This role is ideal for a proactive finance professional who thrives in a manufacturing setting and enjoys driving operational improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the monthly close process and preparation of financial statements
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Oversee cost accounting and inventory controls
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal policies
• Supervise accounting team and coordinate audits
• Partner with operations to drive financial insights and efficiencies

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including manufacturing
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, cost accounting, and ERP systems
• Proven leadership skills with ability to mentor and develop a team
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication abilities
