THE TEAM YOU WILL BE JOINING:Privately held real estate development and property management firm headquartered in Charlotte, operating across NC, SC, and VA.Specializes in single-tenant retail, land development, and build-for-rent projects, managing only properties they own.Recently partnered with outside equity for the first time, creating new complexity in reporting and compliance.Entrepreneurial, close-knit culture with direct exposure to senior leadership and highly confidential projects.WHAT THEY OFFER YOU:Opportunity to work closely with the executive team on multi-entity real estate accounting.Exposure to development, construction, property operations, and investor reporting.Onsite role with hands-on training and mentorship, supporting both corporate and property-level accounting.Stable company with growing investment activity and long-term career growth potential.WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT:Oversee full financial administration of our client- including corporate, development, construction, and property entitiesManages accounting for development funding, loan closings, land acquisitions/dispositions, and construction draws while ensuring projects stay aligned with proforma budgets.Provides financial oversight for active income properties, including rent processing, TICAM reconciliations, and tenant account accuracy.Directly supports CEO/President with strategic planning, investor reporting, corporate HR/payroll, and tax coordinationCoordinates investor relations by preparing monthly/quarterly reports and serving as a financial liaison.Plays a central role in corporate risk management, including insurance bidding, claims oversight, and tax compliance.THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (CPA preferred) with 8–12+ years of progressive accounting/finance leadership experience.Strong real estate industry background—hands-on experience in development accounting, property management accounting, and construction cost reconciliation.Proficiency in QuickBooks, MRI, and advanced Excel analysis.Familiarity with real estate transaction documents (leases, zoning, surveys, title policies) and trust accounting.Demonstrated ability to manage payroll, benefits, HR processes, and tax coordination in a corporate environment.Proven investor relations experience, preparing accurate financial reports and supporting funding vehicles.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills—able to liaise with executives, property managers, developers, and investors while maintaining confidentiality and integrity.#LI-JS1 #LI-ONSITEReference: 65364
