Database/SharePoint Support Associate (15.39)

Responsibilities Design and update database structures, forms, queries, and dashboards using SQL Server, SharePoint Online lists/libraries, and Power Platform. Conduct functional and regression testing of database modifications to ensure accuracy, reliability, security, and compliance with agency standards. Prepare and maintain technical documentation for database objects, workflows, integrations, and user guidance. Develop reports, queries, and interactive dashboards with Power BI and other analytics tools to provide actionable insights. Assist in possible migration to a new integrated contract writing and financial management system, creating a legacy data repository to preserve historical records. Provide advisory support and troubleshooting for database-related issues, optimizing performance, usability, and scalability. Extract and validate contract and procurement data ensuring accuracy, completeness, and consistency. Produce recurring reports and conduct trend analyses on obligations, expenditures, and contract actions. Maintain and update SharePoint Online tools, applications, and site collections, ensuring compliance with governance, security, and data management policies. Develop, configure, and maintain workflows using Power Automate and Power Apps, supporting legacy SharePoint Designer workflows as needed. Partner with Government staff to design, implement, and evolve SharePoint solutions supporting contracting tools, workflows, and business processes. Integrate SharePoint with Microsoft 365 services (Teams, OneDrive, Outlook) to enhance collaboration and efficiency. Document processes, configurations, and procedures for effective management, reporting, and auditing of SharePoint activities. Recommend and implement enhancements to improve usability, efficiency, and performance of the SharePoint environment. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field. 5-8 years’ experience in database support or SharePoint administration roles. Direct experience designing, developing, testing, documenting, and maintaining SharePoint environments and sites. Proficiency in SQL Server, including query writing and database design. Highly proficient in Microsoft 365 applications (Excel, Power BI). Experience utilizing Power BI and other analytics tools to develop reports, queries, and dashboards. Experience supporting development of workflows and applications using Power Automate and Power Apps. Ability to obtain and maintain required security clearance; background investigation may involve credit, fingerprint, and law enforcement agency checks.
