Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (Per Diem)

Per Diem NNP - Level III and Newborn Nursery - 12-Hour Shifts

Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking an experienced Per Diem Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) , Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) , or Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) to join our dynamic team at Wellington Regional Medical Center. This is a unique opportunity to support both our Newborn Nursery and expanding Level III NICU , while enjoying the lifestyle and amenities of one of South Florida's most desirable communities.

Your Role at a Glance

• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, rotating weekends
• Staffing Model:
  • 4.5 Neonatologists providing 24/7 in-house coverage
  • 2.3 mid-level providers covering NICU during the day
  • 1.5 mid-level providers covering the newborn nursery during daytime hours
• Responsibilities:
  • Care for full-term and late preterm infants in the newborn nursery
  • Attend high-risk deliveries
  • Oversee daily responsibilities in the nursery
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based care

WRMC is a 233-bed acute care hospital serving western Palm Beach County. It offers advanced neonatal intensive care through a 25-bed Level III NICU, with a focus on:

Qualifications

• Current APRN national specialty certification
• Minimum of a master's degree
