Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough initial evaluations of patients to identify their physical capabilities, treatment goals, and specific needs.
• Create and implement individualized treatment plans that are designed to enhance patients' strength, mobility, and functional independence.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and advanced rehabilitation techniques, to address physical impairments.
• Regularly monitor and document patient progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on their evolving needs and advancements.
• Collaborate effectively with an interdisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists, to ensure holistic and coordinated care for each patient.
• Provide education and resources for patients and their families on effective home exercise programs and strategies for maintaining optimal physical health post-treatment.
• Stay updated with the latest industry practices and ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations pertaining to physical therapy.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid licensure as a Physical Therapist in New York State.
