Medical Surgical Oncology Nurse - Webster, TX. This position supports the care of oncology and transplant patients within an 8-bed unit, requiring compassionate and resilient nursing professionals. The role involves administering chemotherapy and biotherapy, performing blood transfusions, and cardiac monitoring, with a focus on patient safety and quality care.

Job Details

• Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shift hours, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License; BLS certification; NO minimum experience required
• Preferred Qualifications: ONCC Oncology Certified Nurse Certification; ACLS certification; Chemo/Biotherapy administration experience; Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) experience; Hematology experience
• Float: Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The unit primarily conducts chemo/biotherapy administration, BMT, blood transfusions, and cardiac monitoring. Candidates should be compassionate, resilient, collaborative, detail-oriented, and a critical thinker, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Rotating weekends and on-call shifts may be required.
