Title: MDG Support Engineer

Location: Irving, TX (Hybrid, 3 days/week on-site)

POSITION OVERVIEW

The MDG Support Engineer will join the Application Managed Services team to provide robust production support and ongoing enhancements for SAP Master Data Governance (MDG). This role focuses on maintaining master data quality and governance compliance across Material Master and Business Partner domain models while delivering tier-3 functional and technical issue resolution.

DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide production support for SAP MDG processes covering Material Master and Business Partner master data, ensuring timely resolution of incidents, service requests, and data-related issues.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve MDG workflow, validation, BRF+, and change request issues, performing root cause analysis and recommending sustainable solutions.
• Support and enhance SAP MDG custom developments, collaborating with technical teams on ABAP programs, workflows, data models, enhancements, BADIs, and interfaces.
• Maintain and support SAP Fiori applications related to MDG, including issue resolution, catalog/role validation, user access support, and usability improvements.
• Execute functional, integration, and regression testing for MDG enhancements, data replication processes (DRF), and system changes, while supporting UAT and production deployments.
• Partner with business users, data stewards, and cross-functional SAP teams to ensure master data quality, governance compliance, process improvements, user training, and documentation updates.

They bring a strong blend of production support grit and custom enhancement capabilities, thriving in multi-stakeholder environments to maintain master data integrity.

Job Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents involving SAP MDG, BRF+ business rules, workflows, and change requests.
• Develop, support, and enhance custom ABAP solutions, BADIs, interfaces, and system data models.
• Support SAP Fiori application access, catalog configurations, and end-user usability enhancements.
• Manage and execute end-to-end testing for data replication (DRF), enhancements, and system upgrades.
