Operations Supervisor

Job Description

A local company is seeking an Operations Supervisor who will be responsible for managing all aspects of the product from receiving to storing to delivery. Work hours are Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Responsibilities:

• Daily coordination, improvement, and execution of all operations
• Oversee production and quality control with proper planning for maintenance
• Account for cost management, including equipment efficiencies, waste, direct labor, and materials
• Prepare regular performance review and re-evaluate processes
• Manage budget to align the goals of the business
• Ensure regulatory, compliance, and legal rules are followed for appropriate sanitation and food safety are met
• Conduct Food safety audits within operation and with ODA, USDA move to complete third-party audits
• Coordinate and supervise personal regarding production merchandising, QC Cost Control, and Labor
• Recruit, hire, develop and retain associates to create the best team possible
• Look for opportunities to implement new products, processes, and services that support sales growth and overall customer satisfaction
• Oversee and drive operational excellence in order to maintain high levels of satisfaction with services to internal and external customers

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

• Must have at least 3 years of experience in a similar operational role within the food industry
• A hands-on leader with a strong dedication to customer service orientation is required
• Must have excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills
• Must have the ability to pay a high attention to detail and be computer literate
• Must be energetic, self-driven, and capable of motivating teams
• A proactive, solutions focused mindset and a "can do" attitude is needed
• Must be able to ensure regulatory, compliance, and legal rules are followed
• Must have a valid Class A or B CDL with a clean driving record
