Rates: 11,510.28 Euros/Month Gross on Employment Contract

Connecting your world

• As a Cost Advisor for Installation Technology, you proactively provide cost advice regarding risks and optimizations within technical projects.
• Think of projects with an investment value of 30 million or higher, in which installation systems such as electrical and mechanical installations play a key role.
• How exactly you achieve this is up to you. We rely on your expertise and the way you approach projects in a positive and structured manner.

You apply your talents to:

• Preparing cost estimates for installation engineering investment projects and continuously assessing whether the investment delivers the desired value.
• Collaborate with various departments to arrive at a widely supported and realistic cost recommendation.
• Identifying cost savings and optimizations and drawing up budgets for both current and future projects.
• Assessing requests and quotations from main contractors and monitoring cost control and efficiency.
• Functionally manage one or more junior cost engineers within the project.

Your work area involves projects related to the new construction and renovation of installations.

These projects vary in complexity and scale, but have one thing in common: the dynamic and complex environment. The organisation remains operational at all times, meaning that technical projects often involve multiple interests and stakeholders. This requires insight, collaboration, and persuasiveness.

In addition, you have:

• Higher professional education (HBO) working and thinking level, preferably in Installation Technology, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering, or extensive experience within the contracting industry.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience with cost management within new construction and renovation projects involving building services.
• Experience in preparing and reviewing cost estimates and budgets for technical installations.
• Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations and contract forms such as UAV, UAV-GC, and RAW.
• Experience working within a complex stakeholder environment.

In addition, you recognize yourself in the following characteristics:

• You have a technical affinity and understand how installations are an integral part of complex buildings and infrastructure.
• You work in a result-oriented, pragmatic, and hands-on manner.
• You have strong analytical skills and a thorough understanding of technical cost structures.
• You think in terms of solutions and optimizations and take a proactive role within projects.
• You are a person of integrity, critical where necessary, and not afraid to give your advice clearly.
• You possess strong communication skills and collaborate effectively with various disciplines.
• Additional professional training in cost management or installation technology is a plus.
