Temporary HR Administrative Assistant (A1474901SO) Boston, Massachusetts Salary: USD28 - USD28 per year Our client, a large nonprofit healthcare and senior living organization, is seeking a full-time HR Administrative Assistant for a temporary 3+ month assignment. This fully onsite position offers $28/hour and a schedule of 7:45 AM - 3:45 PM. Located in Boston, this role serves as the first point of contact for employees, visitors, and applicants while providing administrative and operational support to the Human Resources team. Key Responsibilities Greet visitors, employees, and applicants, providing exceptional customer service and directing inquiries appropriately. Answer and route incoming HR department calls. Assist employees with basic Workday-related tasks and support applicants through the application process. Verify and maintain I-9 documentation, including tracking expiration requirements. Handle sensitive employee and company information with strict confidentiality. Ensure compliance with HR data management policies, privacy regulations, and data security protocols. Coordinate front desk coverage to ensure consistent service during breaks and absences. Manage ticket purchasing across the organization. Process HR team expense reimbursements and vendor invoices. Support onboarding and new hire processes. Coordinate monthly new hire orientation logistics, including materials, room setup, catering, schedules, and presentations. Assist with recruitment activities, interviews, job fairs, open houses, and other hiring events. Prepare recruitment materials and support department initiatives as needed. Candidate Qualifications High school diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred. 2-4 years of HR, administrative, or related experience in a fast-paced environment. Experience supporting employee inquiries, payroll, benefits administration, or HR systems preferred. Familiarity with Human Capital Management (HCM) systems such as Workday, Epicor, or similar platforms. Strong customer service and interpersonal skills. Professional, proactive, collaborative, and results-oriented approach. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing demands. Strategic thinker with the ability to handle challenging situations effectively.
